Saint Louis' Local News Entity for the Black Citizen Who Wants to See Themself & Their Issues in Media - the Underserved Constituent; the Black St. Louisan.

 

My mission is to offer consistent & important content covering Black issues in the area while maintaining integrity and professionalism. The Black St. Louisan was begun to help the average Black citizen in the area feel more connected with the news, heard, & informed.​

 

Above all, the less fortunate one is most in need of assistance - I aim to help the underserved, undervalued, & underestimated. For too long have Black communities within the area had important stories turned-down by mainstream media, faced corruption sponsored & covered-up by officials, and endured the tropes & defamation of Black people displayed on everyday T.V. like it's normal. I want to help make media F.U.B.U. (for us; by us) so we no longer need to rely on some of the racist options we currently have to entertain.
